Sustainable use of Edible, Medicinal and Aromatic Plants

Specific Objectives:
- Conservation of wild plants and its use in a sustainable way in and surround the Reserve.
- Train the participants about the usage and packaging of wild plants in a right way that warrantee its quality and marketing.
- Acknowledgment the importance of wild plants, conservation from the local communities surrounding the Reserve.
- Increasing the income of participants’ families.
- Marketing of products on the main entrances o the Reserve and other places (supermarkets, Hotels).

Activities:
- Selection of participants.
- Publishing a marketing booklet about the important species of the medicinal, edible, aromatic plants and the rural development products.
- A nursery for the reproduction of some important wild plants (Thyme, Min, Rosemary) and its distribution to the participants.
- Promoting necessary materials which will be used by the participants for cooking, distillation, packaging of products.
- Held workshops about the collection, usage of wild plants in addition to packaging of products in a right way.
- Marketing of products.
