for beekeeping and aromatic plants reproduction

Executive site: Mnassif area (Deir Baba-Kfarfakoud-Kfarkatra-Bchetfeen-Deirkoucheh-Kneiseh-Ammiq).
General Objective:
Enhancing and Developing the beekeeping sector and aromatic plants
reproduction in Mnassif Area
Specific Objectives:
- Support the existing beekeepers and enhancing your production (30
Beekeepers).
- Creating new beekeepers in Mnassif Area (30 Beekeepers).
- Aromatic Plants Reproduction.
- Training for Beekeepers about beekeeping, disease control, packaging,
marketing, advertising and others.
- Training for Women (50 Women) about right and Sustainable use of
aromatic plants, production, packaging and promoting.
- Marketing of products in the Mnassif area (Booklet, Link the project
with the Website of the Reserve, Textile bags, stickers,
exhibition).
Activities:
Support of existing and new beekeepers:
- Selection of participants in the project in cooperation with the local
committee (Representative of municipalities, Al-Shouf Cedar
Society).
- Rehabilitation an atelier in Kfarfakoud for collection, extraction and
packaging of honey.
- Organizing different workshops for the existing and new beekeepers (60
beekeepers) about beekeeping, disease control, packaging, and
others.
- Providing 150 hives for 30 new beekeepers (5 hives for each
beekeeper).
- Supporting the beekeeper’s atelier by the necessary materials.
Aromatic Plants:
- Selection of participants in the project in cooperation with the
local committee (Representative of municipalities, Al-Shouf Cedar
Society).
- Organizing different workshops for women from the Mnassif area about
aromatic plants and rural products
- Rehabilitation an atelier for women in Kfarfakoud.
- Supporting the women’s atelier by the necessary materials (Bans Steel,
Gas Stove and others).
- Planting some aromatic seedlings in Bchatfine village (Common Rosmary,
Shrubby Sage, Marjoram).
Promoting of project
- Produce promoting materials for the project (Booklet, Link the
project with the Website of the Reserve, Textile bags, stickers).
